OMG...the floors are gorgeous! What a difference it makes in the whole feel of your rooms! Your new rugs are lovely, by the way (I love the colors!) Oh, I'm SO jealous and want to burn the carpet in our living room right now after seeing these pictures!

Hey, I wanted the job done right. Plus, I would have had to buy/rent a table saw and circular saw in order to do it on my own. The two workers arrived at around 8:30 on Thursday morning and were completely done by 4:30 pm. It was scheduled to be a two-day install, but the job really wasn't that big, and the workers even commented on how easy the stuff was to install (no glue, no nails - the planks lock together and "float" on top of the existing sub-floor).
The rooms have a much warmer feel to them now. And I get all sorts of cheap entertainment in watching the cats skitter around.
