Time to go get rocked...
Aug. 1st, 2006 12:52 pmStones Rising '06 is imminent, and the excitement is palpable, even through my flist here on LJ.
Most of my gear is packed (YES,
badseed1980 and
pierceheart "that" item is packed!), or at least organized in a couple of central locations around the house. I work at the store tonight, so I won't get home until about 2200. I may throw some stuff into the car when I get in, just to get it done. Then I'll be up long before the crack to hit the interstate, pick up the Labyrinth Lady in Arlington, and get to the Farm.
It's gonna be a hot one. I have a feeling that any time not spent in organizational meetings is likely going to be spent submerged in the creek. I'd better pack a couple extra towels.
Not sure how the Warriors' Vigil will turn out this year. I never really got much feedback idea-wise this time around. I'm sure we'll have enough people. They all seem to come out of the woodwork when needed. It would just be nice to actually be able to PLAN something for a change. Not a large production like Alan's ceremonial extravaganzas, but... something. Maybe next year.
So anyway, I'll be out of town through Sunday. Stay cool, everyone. And to the Farmies - see you all soon!
