Yes, I'm still around.  Can't access LJ from work anymore, so there went that pleasant, time-killing activity.  *sigh*

So, what have I been up to lately?

  • Accomplished - one Master's of Science in Biology, diploma received, sigh of relief breathed
  • In progress - Scotland trip album scrapbook (getting close to being finished)
  • In progress - Job hunt for new position (no luck yet)
  • In progress - weight loss (Weight Watchers joined, going fairly well)
  • Traveled to - Savannah, Georgia, for work-related course (American Indian Cultural Communications)
  • Celebrated - 39th birthday (*gulp!*)
  • Hosted - Dad and stepmother over President's Day weekend (went very well)
  • Received - both Federal and state tax refunds (YAY!)
  • Learned - "Wilt Thou Go to the Barracks, Johnny?" Scottish highland (recruiting) dance
Looks like most of you have been pretty busy as well.  Hope you all had pleasant and safe winters - spring/Ostara is only a few days away!

Thank you! I thought of you every time I walked by a building owned by the Savannah College of Art and Design. And yes, Savannah is gorgeous - I could easily picture myself living there, if it weren't so freakin' hot during the summer.

wow-wow- wow-congratulations on getting your masters! that must feel like such a relief- to have accomplished so much and to know all your hard work has paid off.

and HAPPY BIRTHDAY (belated). i just celebrated my 32nd and just now realized that wait. i am beyond my 30's- it came as a surprise to me.

and i loved savannah- the food, the culture, the people. that is one of my dream places to live. i hope that you had a nice trip and was able to see some of the city.

but it sounds like you are heading into spring with lots of accomplishment and things done in a good way under your belt. congrats!
